Bee's Wrap

Beeswax Lined Bread Bag, Natural

Beeswax Lined Bread Bag, Natural

A beeswax lined bag for the loaf on the counter.

Cotton lined with beeswax. Bee's Wrap says it creates a breathable seal and helps keep crusts crisp and centers soft longer. Fold the top over to close it.

  • 15 x 12 inches, sized by Bee's Wrap for sourdough, bakery loaves and homemade bread
  • Organic cotton with beeswax, organic plant oil and tree resin
  • Contains beeswax, so not vegan
  • Wash in cool water with a little soap, air dry, and reshape with your hands. Keep it away from heat and raw meat.

The maker
Bee's Wrap is based in Middlebury, Vermont, and has made its food wraps there since 2012. It is a certified B Corporation, certified in 2019 with a score of 96 in the public B Lab directory, and a 1% for the Planet partner. Of every brand we vetted, it scored the highest.

Why it is on our shelf
A certification you can look up yourself beats a claim on a label. Bee's Wrap is in the public B Lab directory and lists every material in the bag.

The swap
Assuming one loaf of bread a week, which would otherwise be kept in a plastic bread bag, it replaces 52 plastic bread bags in its first year. The bag breaks down in a home compost pile at the end of its life (not certified compostable).

Small choices add up.
